Superior Essex Energy announces the expansion of its MV Primary UD EPR Cable now with Aluminum Solid Conductors Series E9xP

Superior Essex Energy, a division of LS Cable & System U.S.A., Inc. announces the launch of its Medium Voltage Primary UD cable now with aluminum 1350 solid conductors. This design is suitable for underground primary power applications, wet and dry locations, and for direct burial installation or in duct. These cables are fully compliant to industry standards – ASTM, ICEA S-94-649, AEIC CS8 and UL 1072 (MV-90), and RUS U1 accepted.
Configurations:
- Single, aluminum (Al 1350) solid conductors
- Conductor Gauges - 2AWG through 4/0AWG
- Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) insulated
- Voltage: - Rated 5kV through 35kV (100% and 133% insulation level)
- Helically applied wires for concentric neutral configurations (full or reduced)
- Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) jacket
